A smarter way to travel – Self Service Hourly car rental with City Car Club

Forth Valley Royal Hospital are running a 2 year pilot project with City Car Club to provide a car club service for the hospital and the surrounding community.

City Car Club provides cost effective, short-term, self-service car rental to members for periods from half an hour to several days, 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, without the need to go to a central rental location to pick up a car and you only pay for the hours you use and the miles you do.

There are 2 new Toyota Yaris parked in designated parking bays in front of the Forth Valley Royal Hospital. The cars are block booked to NHS Forth Valley during the working week but are available to the surrounding community in the evenings, weekends and public holidays.

As part of the pilot project NHS Forth Valley have agreed with City Car Club a reduced annual membership fee of just £1.00, normally £60.00.

As a City Car Club member, you are not limited to using the cars just in Larbert and are given full access, 24/7/365, to hundreds of other cars located in 18 other cities around the UK including Edinburgh and Glasgow.

All you have to do to take advantage of this fantastic offer is complete the Join Now form, on their website www.citycarclub.co.uk, using the promotional code CORP001 and City Car Club will give you a call to check your driving license and send a membership pack with your membership number and pin number allowing you to book the cars and a membership card which will give you access to the cars.

October Meeting Notification

The October meeting of the Community Council will be held in the Rennie Lounge of Larbert Old Church on Monday 26th October 2015 at 7:15pm.

At the meeting, we will have our regular monthly updates from Police Scotland, the Community Safety Team and Larbert High School.

All are welcome to attend the meeting and to contribute to discussions or to raise any issues.
